My doctor told me to start taking a calcium supplement. I forgot to ask what kind of calcium. What do you think? I can call on Monday to clarify, but thought I'd see what responses I'd get here. Thanks.

Citrate is more soluble. Preferred .

calcium citrate is having a better bioavailablity, body absorbs citrate better then carbonate.

I find my self that its better to take coral calcium. I had acid reflux. "BAD" Take it three time a day for three days then just two twice a day, for ever. No matter what your age. You need calcium.
