i need a man's opinion.....?

Question

why do men cheat on their girlfriends? i mean why not just break up with the girl if u r going to cheat on her anyway. the past 3 relationship i have been in (2 were over a year long) i found out, after catching feelings for the man, that they had a girlfriend. they all claimed to care about me alot and wanted to continue with the relationship but would not break up with the other girl. i just dont understand it and no man i know wants to explain it to me. thanks!

Were the other women they had long term girlfriends or just flings? Were they involved with the other women first? In some cases men may be getting something from you that they were not getting from their girlfriends, or vice versa. The needs could be different; anything from sexual to having more fun with you or the other person. However, they were still attached to the other women for the same, but different reasons. This is why they will sometimes keep both around. In other cases men will just be with all different women who they have an opportunity with...the real players.

Since you appear to have a pattern going, the first thing you need to do is ask yourself, are you attracted to the same type of guys? I mean do they have the same personalities? Many times people will realize that they are unconsciously attracted to the same type of people, and are always drawn to them over others who may be better for them. If so, try dating someone who is the complete opposite of what you are used to. Of course, we know that physical and emotional attraction is still important during all this.

Women will cheat on men for the same reason--something somewhere is lacking in one relationship. I have been cheated on before by one woman and it sucked. I have never cheated on any girlfriend because I feel it is morally wrong and I would not want it done to me again...I guess I just feel that people shouldn't do something they wouldn't want done to them.

Men cheat on their girlfriends because of many reasons. One reason is because the man is still young and not quite ready to settle down with just one girl. The man may be having problems with his girlfriend and his way of solving relationship problems is to cheat around, yet still keep his girlfriend hanging around when his fling doesn't workout. However, every man mentality is different. One doesn't believe in cheating and the other is just out there like a dog in heat. My suggestion to you is not to get emotionally attached to who ever you meet. Keep your guard up or else they'll just hurt u again. The stronger u are emotionally and mentally will prepare u for the man that will love u for what u are....and never he will cheat on u....so keep your chin up and don't let give these fools an opportunity to cheat on u....good luck!

Because there's no stock answer to that question, but there are general similarities in the attitudes of men who will (and do) cheat. Men who feel like women are somehow of lesser value because they're women will likely cheat because they feel entitled to having a woman on the side. ("It's a mighty poor possum who's only got one hole to crawl into..."is a common expression of that line of thinking.) Those same guys will flip out if their women were to cheat on them. Men who see women as equals as less likely to cheat. (Keep in mind, however, that all of what I am saying is just general truth). Does this information help you in any way?

Let's see...... he's having sex with you and it's good........... he's having sex with another girl and it's good........... he's having sex with a 3rd girl and it's good too.......... if he breaks up with 2 of you, he only gets to have sex with one, instead of 3........ hmmmmmmmmm
