why do christian woman and men say that it was created by man a long time ago when men ruled back then. Some christians sound so stupid to me. God wrote this, a man wrote this.....I think they write it to what they want. Not what God wants......not all.....

for ex....a woman is a slave to man in marrige. Woman are not aloud to talk in church, they have to have there hair covered as they pray......the answered is in Genesis 3:16.....seek unto God that verse and you will see and understand.

The bible was written by men with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:20-21

"knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation.

for no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit."

By men/women (e.g. Book of Ruth authored by a woman?) perhaps inspired by God - jury still out on this.

Whether inspired or not (and some of the writing seems "inspired") the biblical texts are products of their times. Some texts (e.g. Proverbs, Sirach) seem very dated to the 21st century reader. Others (Amos, Ruth, Job, the Joseph story in Genesis, Isaiah, Ecclesiastes) are timeless.

Paul's comments on women in church are open to various interpretations and must be seen in their context. Paul had a high regard for women and some of his main supporters were women. He also acknowledged women as prophets in the church and as leading the community in prayer, so he wasn't expecting them to be silent. Perhaps the problem was that the early "churches" and services were located in private houses and people sometimes confused the domestic environment with the sacred space it took on when it functioned as "church". Hence, though all women would have covered their heads in public they may have not done so in what they thought of as a private home. Likewise they may have been inclined to talk about domestic or social matters (given the woman's role as host in a private house) in church. Paul was trying to keep the two "spaces" separate even though co-located. There's no indication that Paul looked down on women. See other texts of his work. He regarded husbands and wives as equally reponsible for each other though, at the time, they had different roles and status - no one challenged that.

with regards to the closest I even have ever got here across to something that specially states the reason of introduction is Revelation 4:11, the place the KJ says "for thy exhilaration they're and have been created". It additionally says that God made guy in his photograph. that means that guy replaced into made in any such way that he could have fellowship with God. back, it appears that evidently that God gets exhilaration from those relationships. perhaps it is likewise why he created heaven, so as that human beings would properly be with him continuously. The Bible tells us that "God is love". As love can not exist in a vacuum - it has to have something to love - the very nature of God might advise that he has to create something/somebody to love. And that he might draw exhilaration from those beings.

The Holy Bible was written by God. The authors of the bible were people who held great power with God. In dreams and visions. They were people who understood the meaning of visions, and of course were people who undertsood meaning of dreams. The only difference between the authors of the bible, and any other power moving human being is the way that it was/is handled. Gods people that held the power of dreams and visions dealt with there power by the way God had a desire for them to take care of it.

The Bible as it exists today is ENTIRELY the work of humans. It MAY have been the "inspired wrok of God" when it was first written down by the person who was "inspired" by God to set those words on paper. However, from that first writing it underwent MANY copying sessions by other hands. At EACH copying session, mistakes in spelling, ommisions, and gramatical errors occured. This was further repeated over time. As the Original Bible became translated into other languages (other than ancient Aramaic, which is VERY different from the pre-modern Aramaic, which existed about the time of the end of the Roman Empire) There were further errors in translation into the new languages. Additionally, whole sections were added or removed, based on the politics of the ancient times (both religious politics AND governmental politics). Several "Councils" were put together to decide which writings would be included and which would be eliminated. As time went on and the bible became more and more widely disseminated editors made further changes which often times managed to "slip" by the reviewers (clergy who were responsible for reviewing the work before it was distributed). This all went on until the developement of the Printing press. Around that time the Protestant reformation was beginning so not only was the "accepted" version of the Bible subject to editorializstion by the printers but NEW and very different versions of the Bible were developed as well. Some of these had the SAME problems arise as the original "accepted" version, in that NEW translations had to be developed for newer languages that came along about the same time as the Reformation era. Today, there are over one hundred Different versions of the Bible in print. Many are radically different from each other, many others are very similar. Each of these is in use by different sects of Christianity. Mistakes are STILL occurring in printing and edititing, mostly typographical errors BUT, the existence of MODERN typoes illustrates how EASY it was to make mistakes in the times of handwritten copies. Back then paper was VERY expensive and in order to save on paper and the associated costs. Mistakes were often erased incompletely or "whited out" with "home made remedies" which often allowed the original mistake to "bleed through" and mix with the overwritten part, further confusing the test. At the next copying oftentimes the ERROR was the part copied rather than the correction.
Even with the original copy, written by the person who was "inspired by God" there was bound to be SOME unconscious editing by the person doing the actual writing. He/she would have heard something from God and didn't know how to express that and to make it easy on him/herself, simply wrote in language that they could understand, themselves. So, as you can see, what we are left with is NOT the original Bible as the "inspired and revealed wrods of God" but rather mistakes in copying, political revisons, editing mistakes, and religious revisions based on newly developed sects of Chrsitianity. I believe that IF we were able to actually FIND the ORIGIANL copy of the Bible, it would look drastically different from the Bibles that are readily available today. There would be entire sections in it that we had NEVER even heard of before, and entire sections that we read and quote from would be missing entirely as well.

A woman is not intended as a slave for her husband...but she is told to be submissive...which incidentally is wonderful to do if He is living up to what He is told to do as a husband. God knew that their had to be a head of the family...just as their has to be a head of our faith...i.e God. Man is the head of the family but he is told in the Bible that he MUST consider his wife's feelings and welfare above his own. Wouldn't all you ladies out there love to have a hubby like that? I know I would.
