The cat wants to play. I had this happen alot and it does hurt but the cat thinks it is playing, because your feet are just moving objects to the cat. Good luck!

Yes your cat does think this is funny. This is the way your cat plays and I have had a cat that did the same thing.

Your cat is just in stalking mode and being playful. I had a cat that used to wait until I got out of the shower to bite on my wet feet. That was weird.

.That's funny!! But if you think a cat likes to attack feet you should get a ferret.

it's probably because of orienting response. it's the natural attraction of a cat to jump and attack anything that it sees moving. sudden movement grabs it's attention, especially if its lying under the couch where it's dark! =]

Thats what my cat does every morning. it is like our morning ritual. she just wants to play. when my cat (Gizmo) does it, i turn around and chase her, we play this game for about 10 minutes then she has had enough and the game is over until the next morning.

she "catching mice". Do you have toy's for her to play with. (balls, play mice etc..) If you do then she's just bored & wants you to play. Next time she does it find one of her toys a have her play with that. If she doesn't already have toys then buying some might help cure her boredom. If you find that this doesn't help maybe she just needs a kitty friend?
