That after I politely refuse to accept their particular doctrines, they fulfill Jesus's admonition to "shake the dust from your sandals, and move on" when their "witness" is rejected.

I'm a Buddhist, but I was born into a Christian family, so participating in family dinners, gifts, and tree decorating are fun for me, as they are for the many Buddhists in this country. It is also a Buddhist tradition to honor the cultural events from other countries and our families.

I don't "expect" things like gifts, but my family loves to give gifts to each other, so we all have fun looking for just the right gifts to give.
Additionally, when I was still working, I would work for people in other religions on their holiday celebrations. That allows all of us to have special times with family and honor cultural traditions.

Most of the Christians with whom I have contact are reasonable, interesting people. I generally can expect civility and good nature from them.

There are those, however, who stike me as rigid, unyeilding, lacking in imagination and dogmatic. I generally avoid them.

For them to try their hardest to treat others the way Jesus would. He did say that was one of the 2 most important rules anyway.

I haven't noticed Christians being nicer than any other group.

To understand that their actions influence the social definition of their faith. If their actions contradict the message of their savior (forgiveness, love, compassion), then expect people to not listen to their expoundings. In other words, I expect them to lead by example.

I expect to be treated the same way I treat them, I don't want to be convinced to share their beliefs and I don't want them to share mine. We all have independent thoughts, that's just how it is. I alos expect christians to follow the moral code in the bible, for if they are claiming to be christians, they should follow their religion.

Nothing really. I just wish that they would keep their religion to themselves. Be like the publican in the temple and pray quietly.

I do not expect Christians to force their version of morality on the rest of American society. Keep ID out of schools, let gays love and marry whomever they wish, and fund important scientific research.

That they respect my choices on how I live my life. That they stop telling me I'm going to hell because I choose to believe in something different other than their way of life. That they stop trying to shove their religion down my throat, when I didn't ask them a question about their bible.

I expect them to practice what they preach, but only so long as it doesn't infringe upon my right to live my life they way I want to.

And I expect them to be all around decent human beings, compassionate, honest, honorable, etc.
