I'm guessing it is because they don't want to get the flu.

God gives people gifts of healing and wisdom... and I honestly think that science is important... i don't believe that ALL scientific ideas are absolute truth tho, as many change from month to month

(such as test 1 shows eggs are good for you.... then another month passes and study 2 shows they are bad.... study 3 then says they are good.... and that is just eggs!)

Flu shots actually give me the flu as they cause a reaction in my system that makes me more susceptible to the viruses out there... so i don't get them anymore, didnt like being sick for 8 weeks after the shot

we could ask tho, why evolutionists get the flu shot... shouldnt they be adapting to their surrounding and be immune?

Craigm: Wow, viruses are not "alive" so they do no longer seem to be subject to evolution? All biotic issues are subject to evolution. I hate to be so bluntly impolite, yet: you're a dumbass. Jenn: Evolution does no longer mean issues develop into different issues that exist already, that may no longer clever by any ability. Viruses evolve, they do no longer basically for my area mutate, as a results of fact in contrast to a random genetic mutation, an developed viral rigidity will in no way produce a "customary" rigidity-- this is going to basically reproduce itself, or proceed to alter. Flu trojan horse #2 will in no way lower back produce flu trojan horse #a million. And the reason we are able to manage developed lines with as much as date vaccinations is via the fact they have all developed the comparable way according to being subjected to the comparable situations. Edit: as quickly as I say "mutation," right here, i'm employing it the way the creationists are-- as something distinctive from evolution, no longer a ingredient of evolution. I understand that, technically, all issues "mutate" to evolve.

I don't know why you all are so keen on this question! Getting a flu shot has nothing to do with a person's belief in evolution. Why do god fearing folks get them? Can't god heal them when they are sick?

Actually, I don't get flu shots. I work with special education students. They expose me to so many germs on a regular basis that my immune system is strong and active (it has something to do). I haven't gotten the flu in years. I am rarely sick.

Because of what Jesus said, that's why.

Matthew 4:5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6 and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, "'He will command his angels concerning you,' and "'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'"

7 Jesus said to him, "Again it is written, 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

If God has given people the wisdom to prevent illness then it's not up to us to put God to the test and tell Him that He has to protect us supernaturally.

ha ha ha! I didnt.
I think flu shots are for those withoiut faith in evolution.
I think it is hilarious that a person who considers themselves an atheist/evolutionist would ever seek out any medical "interference" as regards their health. It for sure suggests their lack of faith in the evolutionary process.
As for those who are creationists? The Bible itself tells it's adherents to seek a doctor.
Where does the "Bible' of evolution allow for medical interference for disease?

I think you need to understand, you are the ones on trial not me!
