It will go much better than you think. Everyone gets nervous the first time they do anything in front of an audience. Don't worry about it. In the grand scheme of things, the worst possible thing that could happen is nothing compared to what many people are having to deal with, and it will not go that badly. You'll be great. Just remember us little people when you become famous and start making tons of money.

You don't have to worry about anything. The audience is coming to see you. And most of them aren't experienced in music. I'll bet 95% of the Audience isn't. Just think. This is what you have been rehearsing for. It's just like another rehearsal, except you are preforming it infront of a group of people. Just take a breather, and go over your material. I'm sure you'll do just fine if you believe in yourself. Above all have fun with it, and if you make a mistake, keep going. Double check everything before you leave to go to the concert and think, your audience is there to see you and you playing. Not if you messed up or not. I have been preforming all my life, in musicals, plays, and concerts, trust all you can do is have fun and learn from your experiences. You don't have to worry about a thing.

Remember, you know way more about the piano than most of the people in the audience. In most cases, even if you hit the wrong note, no one will notice just as long as you don't stop or backtrack....just keep moving and enjoy your moment of glory. You'll do great, I'm sure!

I remember clearly my first recitle..i played cello though, but i remember being nervous aswell, i got over it by telling my self that i knew i was good and that everyone already loved me so after this they would love me even more...you kinda have to be concited, know your good and tell youself how good you are before you go on....i wanted to be on broadway when i was little so i would tell myself that if i didnt get through it i could never be on broadway...so just tell yourself that your awesome and your the best....dont practice to much because it only makes you more nervous..and right before you go out there think something really concieted like "im better then them" and go out there and play like you really are.....its not the best advice socailly but it made me feel better before i went out and played.

Not to be cruel or anything, but what ever people tell you here on this site won't do much for you because:
1 the "RECITAL" is tommorrow, what's done is done, you have to play with what you've got.
2. nervousness is part of the game, if it's a big problem for you, then it needs much more detailed/ in-depth evaluation to be taken care of. no one here can help you with that in-person, so do your best and learn from it how ever it turns out to be.

First, tell yourself you are the world's greatest pianist.
(You should have seen me when I had to give a speech; the poor podium shook!) Remember, this happens to most people, so it nothing to be concerned about.
You can always remember the tactic some speakers employ: imagine the audience as all being naked!
Another tactic: "ignore" (imagine you are the only one there) everyone else.
If these don't work, "just don't give a hoot what anyone else thinks!"
good luck

Practice smiling in the mirror.. It relaxes you. Get a good night's sleep and think about how awesome you are at the piano. Think of tomorrow as your day to "show the world" what you know, and how much you love playing. Then go and do it!
