they certainly can although it is rare. I had mine removed as a child and I am know almost 30 and my tonsils still flare up as they have grown back. But I will not have them removed as an adult and wouldnt reccomend it unless your having a lot or flare ups. Tonsils work sometimes by reducing the risk of chest infections. I have had friends who had their tonsils removed as adults and now they seem to get more chest infections

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

Cure Tonsil Stones Permanently?

i think they cannot unless they left out some parts of it. humans have three pairs of tonsils. Tonsils are included in the primary defense mechanism of the body against infections. The term growing back may refer to the addition of cells to be able to carry out its function well. Removing your tonsils would lessen your defense mechanism to air borne infections, so it may be the body's reflex to let them divide and grow more cells for increasing the function. My advice is stay away from dusty and filthy places. try to breath cleaner and fresher air. Breath only through the nose and not through the mouth.

I found out today that one of mine grew back. I had them out almost 10 years ago, and now I have to have another tonsillectomy!

Yes, if they didn't fully remove your tonsils, they can grow back. My father's grew back a few years ago and he had to have them RE-removed.
