self help for oxycontin?

do you knwo anyways to detox yourself off of oxycontin. my room mate gets sick and throws up and **** and is tryign to ween themselves off of it bu needs more advice. help./

He can try to do it himself, but it's not going to be easy and he's going to feel like crap.

He needs a counselor to help him through this.

Also, if he doesn't want to quit, it'll never happen.

If he is determined to do it alone, there are two ways. Take less each day until the dose is so small he can just stop, or quit "cold turkey", go through withdrawal, and be done with it.
