i smoke and , all my frends think im soo cool, so i do it ,they dont , and its also how i get the guys , should i is it worth it?

Cigarettes are not worth it. In fact I think the modern trend nowadays is that if you smoke its just lame. People can see right through you know matter how cool you think you look.

I'm sure you know smoking is bad for your health. Your friends might think you are cool now,but it is not so cool when you have to stand outside to smoke while your friends are inside of a non-smoking club, bar, or restaurant. Quite now! Also, not a lot of men are into women with yello teeth and hair or women who smell like smoke all the time.

I tried it when I was in college. I found it to be dirty, expensive, and a waste of time, so I quit.

My fiance smoked for 28 years and last November had a mild heart attack. He was lucky! He also quit cold turkey the day he had the attack.

My father smoked for many years, but quit in 1976. Even though some of his body "recovered" from the damage, his heart did not. He had triple-bypass and 2 heart-valve replacement surgery about 6 years ago and never really recovered. He died in February of this year at 81, but would likely have had a longer, better life if he had not smoked for so many of his "formative" years.

Both my brother and sister-in-law smoke. What damage it's doing to my brother has yet to surface, but my sister-in-law has emphasema so badly she is on oxygen and is a candidate for lung transplant.

My sister smoked many years. She stopped a few times and is currently "smoke-free," I hope for the rest of her life.

So you see, smoking is just not a good idea at any age for any reason. It is not "cool"... or "kewl" ... it is bad in the really BAD sense of the word.

I am a smoker!! I didnt' start because I thought it made me look cool. I did it because I liked how it made me feel. You should never do anything just to make people think you are cool. Back to the question of if they jumped off a cliff would you? I have been smoking for 10 years now and I can tell you that I have tried to quit I don't know how many times. It is a horrible habit that you just can't stop because you tell yourself to. Personally if your friends think it is cool, then let them smoke and smell bad. You should stop and enjoy the fact that you are healthier then they are and don't smell. I know you don't know me and I don't know you but please stop smoking, take it from someone who has tried and failed to many times....

In my opinion, no, it's not. Most smokers die 10 years younger than nonsmokers, there's a huge list of types of cancer you can get, and honestly, who wants to be around someone who smells like cigarettes? It's extremely addictive, so why start? or continue? It's best to quit while you're young. And as for your peers, if they really are your friends or are really attracted to you, they should be able to accept your decisions. If they don't, well, they're not real friends. Easy as that.
