I'd known a guy all school year and just 10 days ago we started texting. I like him a lot, and I know he likes me back a LOT. Last Saturday night he finally asked me out in a text, and I turned him down because I'm not ready to have a boyfriend. He blamed the text on his friend, but I really think it was actually him. We texted for 3 days after that, but one night our conversation ended, and that was 3 days ago, and we haven't texted since. He's usually the one to start the conversation...is something wrong? Did he lose interest because I turned him down? I want to let him know I'm still interested, what do you recommend I say to him so we can start talking again?

Let's get 1 thng clear, if ur interested in sum1 & they ask u out on a date, it doesn't necessarily mean tht they want 2 b ur boyfriend, a date allows u 2 get know the person a little better. He could be a little upset tht u turned him down, he's probably confuse about the whole situation, he probably feeling like he's wasting his time. U should send him a text message telling him tht ur still interested in him but u declined because u weren't sure about what he wanted.

He probably thinks you don't like him because you turned him down, or he could be really embarassed about the whole thing. I think you should txt him and tell him that even though you don't want him as a boyfriend you still really like him and want to talk to him...

Text him by simply saying you're interested in being his friend and possibly more but just not yet. Miss ya...ttys (soon).

give it some time...usually when guys ask someone out and get rejected, they always feel frustrated so give him some time...let him come to you, not the other way around..hope this helps..GOOD LUCK
