Genocide
Empirialistic Rulers
Banned from practicing your Faith
Mistreatment of Children
Mistreatment of Women
Extreme and utter poverty
I read in book once that a man from India said that the United States is the only place on earth where poor people are fat.
If you're strong enough in your faith, you can resist temptation. I would take resisting temptation every day of my life over not having rights to practice my faith. Well, I live here in the US, and have no problem at all resisting temptation because of my strong faith in God.

America is not a bad place to live. It's beautiful and for the most part people are the same all over. Our current system of government and politicians are the problem.

Because in America if you work hard and get educated you will make it here. Socialist countries and 3rd world countries do not have that opportunity. Temptation goes in the category of free will and personal choice.

Because of what AMERICA truly is
We need only look at politicans sworn in on a Quarn and illegal immigrants absorbed legally into the system for our answears.
You DO realize we DON'T have the problems FRANCE and ENGLAND have with their "foriegners"
That's the AMERICAN WAY
We give immigrants Stewarts and 7-11 shops, taxi cabs and high tech institutions.
France and England gives them....
Well, a hard time.
That's the DIFFERENCE

America has a lot of shitty sides, but it is big. Lots of better places to live out there (most of europe, japan, etc.) but no space. They treat immigrants better here, partially because if they didnt, people would go other places. also people who risk everything to get here dont have much. Its really not very hard to get here with even very modest resources.

Hey pal, America can be what you make of it...... its the land of opportunites.... whether they are opportunities to do good or opportunities to do bad..... people know that there is a temptation.... but if you were given a chance to make your life a better lived one would you take that chance? so would we.

My family went to live there, and they came back 30 years later... Because it was fun, but nothing more...
