1. I agree that evolution is false. After all, it is a "hypothesis" which means an intelligent guess! When someone gets to the root of Darwin's tree evolution falls apart because there is no source for the first living cell in Darwin's tree (the root). It couldn't have just appeared, and natual selection preaches that everything that evolves is an improvement over a previous thing.
2. God is not a man with a white beard who appeared from Heaven. God is spirit (John 4:24), and as such, He would be invisible to the human eye. He has no human features - the image we are created in is spiritual - we are spirits living in houses made of flesh called bodies.
3. You have a belief in God spawned in human understanding
which will never measure up to spiritual revelation of who God really is. Jesus was 100% God and 100% man which is something no human will ever understand in this life. Only in the presence of God after death will we be able to see Him as He really is (three in one).
4. God is far more than an enlightened awareness conjured up by a finite intelligence such as we have. He is the Creator and sustainer of the entire universe and perfect in every aspect of His being. He is more than all the best words ever spoken or written could begin to tell.
5. My email (provided you really want answers and not just a lot of dialogue) is jiloth@msn.com -- I always answer my email, and would deem it a privilege to share what I know with you or anyone else who wishes to write.
Let it rip!

Before you figure out where we came from why don't you consider where the matter that we are made of came from? Something can't come from nothing right? Saying that matter has just always been here doesn't make any sense either because it still doesn't explain how it came to be here in the first place. Logically nothing should exist.
So you have to look outside of the 4 dimensions that we are aware of. Look outside of time and space and then you can find the answer. Sorry if you don't believe in a supernatural being who created this universe and human beings with a purpose for it all. If you investigate the Bible, the fullfilled prophecies and the evidence that Jesus rose from the dead then maybe you won't fall into the "fairy tale" trap.
Here's a link from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law school that might interest you if you really are on a search for the truth http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/jesus/greenleaf.html

So you don't toss out the baby with the bath water. Evolution is very real and it's effects can be studied quite easily. What evolution hasn't been able to do yet and may never do is describe the spark of life. So be it. No one knows the answer to that, yet. We will some day and in the process have even more questions to answer.
We also don't know where we are going but unless we use every bit of logic we process we never will. God and religion are not logical and have been stifling us for several thousands years. We're on a road of discovery, we are evolving and always will be. And I don't see anything wrong in that.

Well no one KNOWS where we came from. But you could combine religion and science to explain it. For example, the Big Bang was created from matter that was there previously or it's possible that it was created just from pure energy. That pure energy could have been created by god or some other all powerful being or by some random combustion or something like that. Then the universe was created and so on. And the first life was created, probably some bacteria or something. Then it EVOLVED on and on and on. Untill it created us. There may be missing links, but I still think it's possible that we came from the theory of evolution. Eventually they'll discover those missing links or not. But I really don't think just randomly two people all of the sudden appeared on earth.

Go with your belief in God.You have that, go with it. No one knows what God looks like and we probable could not look at Him. God is a spiritual being and something beyond our comprehension. So, stop banging your head into the wall. All you'll get is a headache. All I can say is all we see was not some big accident. A God or Supreme Being makes more sense than anything else. Peace

Use your scientific thoughts all the way through. What evidence do you have that states that God could not have created the Earth and the human race? Look up what the odds are of everything coming together just right for life to exist. your question proves there is no other answer.

It may be that evolution was NOT refuted by DARWIN
But DARWIN NEVER conculsively said we came from APES and even MODERN SCIENCE is not holding to that belief.
It boils down to two concepts
DO YOU THINK YOU WERE A COSMIC ACCIDENT
DO YOU THINK everything is SERENDIPTY
OR do you think an INTELLGENCE made it all happen.
DO you think you were WILLFULLY MADE
OR do you THINK you are a COSMIC ACCIDENT
DECIDE
That is what is is all about
DECIDING PATERNITY
You either have NONE (you were a COMIC FLUKE of the Universe) or you HAVE a creator (God, for lack of a better word).
DECIDE
Free Will
It is YOUR CHOICE

Whoa whoa whoa. Do you even know all of the mechanisms of Evolution? First of all it's not false, its a theory. Second of all its a theory with a seemingly limitless supply of evidence. Research it more before you shut it down. Yes religion is pretty much a fairy tale but it keeps our civilized world working efficiently. I personally don't like blinding myself to that so I don't follow religion. The answer to your question is that there is no answer. Everything is eternal.

We are all an illusion of a warped mind in a distant galaxy. Simply the creation of some fiction writer a zillion miles away.
Seriously dude. Lighten up. Evolution creation... its all a mystery. If you can explain why (not how... why) fungus grows on a sandwich you are way ahead of me.
I mean really, are we that much different that algae in a fishtank?
Crazy.

i asked myself that 21 years ago. you have to start looking somewhere and find what is right for you. i believe in creation by a higher power. what choices are there? evolution is impossible in my mind due to the fact you can look at alot of animals and see that they didn't have time to evolve. for instance i need lungs and i need them now, i don't have 1000 years to get them...
