My husband cooks and bakes all the time! He's not a chef, but we both love home cooked meals, so we rarely eat out since we both love being in the kitchen.

I would love it if my husband would cook once and a while. I have been with him for 13 years and he has never NEVER cooked. He microwaves hot dogs. Yuck!! I think that cooking and baking has nothing to do with someones gender, watch the food network, there are tons of great chefs that are quite happy. Bon Appetit

Oh, I'm pretty fond of that old battle-hardened veteran. He's past Post Commander at my American Legion Post, current commander of my VFW Post, and a member of both Vietnam Veterans of America and the Marine Corps League. My dad was a master baker--he could brand your calves and go in and bake you a wedding cake to die for. Complete with beautiful roses and the works. He did the lions share of the cooking in our house, better at it than mom. You go guy!!

Sounds a lot like me. I started learning when I was a student. My flatmates only cooked **** and I couldn't afford to eat out much, so I had to cook for myself. Even though I don't have much money we eat very well. And because we've lived in several different countries we're into ethnic cuisine.

A friend of mine's b/f makes apple pies from scratch.I don't even make my own pie crust.A lot of guys cook and they do a good job at it. My sons both love to cook and it's good!!!!
That's why there are a lot of male chefs.

Do you know how much work pastry chefs do? My son is a baker and will be attending Le Cordon Bleu in November. This takes hard work and dedication and I give anyone credit (male or female) who want to pursue this field. What have you done with your life?
