My dog, 2 yrs old, cries while she sleeps. She whines and whines like she is having a bad dream; like someone is chasing her. I have to push her to make her stop. Is that normal???

Yes. Dogs dream like humans do. Mine chases, plays, barks, whimpers, digs and occasionally worse in his sleep. Worry if she doesn't!

It's very normal. It's like when people talk in their sleep. I wouldn't worry about it. It doesn't necessarily mean she's having a bad dream.

You answered your own question. She is dreaming, just like we dream. My dog runs alot in her sleep, her legs are just pumping away. Calling her name softly might wake her up better then pushing her. Would you like to get pushed around while you're asleep?
