This is because almost ALL important or famous people have their Obituaries "pre-written" by the Newspapers. That way, when they die, there won't be a sudden "rush" to get all the facts CORRECT on this individual! Imagine doing an Obit on past President Carter. You have all his life to go through, his running for Prez, then the White House years, his accomplishments then and what he did afterwards. Since most papers are printed daily, they have these pre-made and update them yearly (or less) and they aren't caught by surprise when someone famous dies. All they have to do is "catch up" to from when the obit was last updated.

Sometimes, they get printed by mistake.

Debra, I don't know if you had what is called a TBI or not, but make sure you don't get your brain too stimulated, if that's the case. There's a reason to keep you quieted down as they want your brain to heal.

Know that no matter how long it is before you can come back on here, your fan club will be waiting for you.

Hugs!

Deb, thanks for keeping us updated. We've been very concerned and apprecaite your efforts at letting us know how you are.

I think this recent episode blows apart the "myth" that R&S is a hateful place. I saw many Atheists posting about this on their blogs and keeping one another informed about how you were. Some of them were complaining to Yahoo Answers about removing your posts as well. It was very heartwarming.

Paul McCartney (quoting Mark Twain after some media frenzy caused by people claiming one of the Beatles' songs said "Paul is dead" when played backward.) Man, am I the only one who remembered that?

Glad you're on the mend!

I believe it was Samuel Clemens, AKA: Mark Twain. He was probably the first; but I've heard about others since then; because newspapers sadly so often screw things like that up!
