$7.50 for a first job is very good! And it's OVER the state's minimum wage so you're on to a good start!
I'm in Virginia, and our minimum wage here is $5.15, but it's going to be going up to $7.25 soon, but depending on what the business is, there are still a lot of people being paid the minimum wage. So yes, you are off to a very good start! Good luck with the new job!

Anything better than minimum wage is good. Besides it's your first job who cares, you'll love making money.

Wow...that's actually pretty good. In Ohio, the minimum wage is $7.00-not a whole lot different, though.
