If you guys are best friends, then you should feel comfortable to ask, "hey, I wonder how we'd do as gf and bf; what would that be like?" or some rhetorical question like that. Make it like you're just making conversation like, "wonder what would happen if it would rain purple water". You know what I mean.
You'll know by her answer.
But listen, you HAVE to find out. Cause if you don't, you'll let a good thing go, and you'll spend the next 20 years kicking yourself, as you watch her go out with guy after guy.
Don't let that happen!!!
P.S. - If you like her answer...like if she smiles, or says, "that would be awesome", then just kiss her dude. Just kiss her.

well my boyfriend was my friend first - its the only way to be - but then again a best friend is different - it could ruin your reltionship all together so take it easy
