Office 2007 is a Windows based office program so no it doesn't work with Linux. However, you can use OpenOffice which will read write and use Office files. OpenOffice is an open source download which will run with Linux or Windows.

So for linux there are FREE use replacements. They are different but most people find they aren't too hard to use. OpenOffice includes a Write program, a spread sheet, a database and a presentation program. You can also get evolution for a replacement for Outlook.

I don't believe so, but you can check on the Microsoft Web site to confirm this. There are other products that do similar functions available for Unix (Linux) systems. OpenOffice, SiagOffice and Koffice are three such products and they are free.

It's possible you might be able to get it to run in WINE or with Crossover.

But why would anyone want to, when Open Office can run natively, is completely compatible and is a better office suite, IMHO.
