i hv 2 guinea pigs...i kept them separate for about a couple months, since they seemed to enjoy each other, while hving their own territory...anyways, i recently introduced them, and placed them in a bigger cage, which houses 2 hideouts with a lot more space...but ever since i let them live together, one of them started to kinda resist me...he was actually the closer one to me...everytime i walk by, or stick my hand in to love on them, he does the teeth chatter (meaning stay away)...the other one, however, is completely fine, and he adores my company...is this something to be worried about? should I keep them in separate cages again?

Just watch them closely make sure that they are getting along. I had three guinea pigs at all at once like ten years ago, one of them used to chatter her teeth at me like that every so often and she was my favorite, she was more vocal than the others. Anyway I think it may have something to do with your piggy either being territorial or that he is kind of stressed being in the same cage with the other piggy. If you really watch them you'll see for yourself what's going on.

Did you follow CavySpirit's guide to introducing guinea pigs. It works really well for most people and the guinea pigs tend to get along decently. As for your one cavy, I would suggest reintroducing him to you! First start off by talking to him, then feed him from your hand, then start holding him each day. The only way he'll get used to you again is if you keep a steady routine.

i know how u feel -it happens- ,but havin' a companion is good 4 them and as long as they get along keep them together
***if u separate them when they're gettin' along, they may get angry w/u and that would be worse***
?R they both males?

What is their gender? Maybe they are fine, or maybe they are fighting or something causing the other one to become less friendly and more withdrawn

Two males will usually fight. One might be picking on the other, stressing him out. I'd suggest splitting them up.
