We just got a mixed kitten from a friend and she is absolutely adorable. I'm wondering what the definition of Tabby Point is. They did name her as that color for her on her papers at the vet. Her mother is a tabby, and the father is a Siamese, and she's a beautiful light cream color with some gray on her tail, pale grey ears, and some light striping on her legs, which actually is like a carmel color. What's the difference between a "Tabby Point Siamese" and just a mixed cat that is half tabby/ half Siamese. Any difference?

We just got her this weekend so we don't know much about her personality yet but we just love her to pieces. Here is a picture. She had one brother that is like her, two tabby siblings, and one black and white one.

It sounds as though you have a mixed Tabby Point Siamese or also called a Tortie Point Siamese. The "point" refers to the tips of her ears and toes being colored as well as a dark tail. Tabby or Tortie is usually gray or speckled, but just on the points. A "Seal" point means dk gray or black, a "Flame" point refers to red or orang-ish colors on the ears, toes, tail. True Siamese are very lean and angular and your mixed kitten's structure prob. looks more like a regular kitten. They are adorable and very popular.
For more Siamese examples, search "Point Siamese" on the internet or do the same at www.Petfinder.com. They have a lot of mix breed kitties and you might just find one that looks similar to yours.
Be sure to have her spayed by the age of 4-5 months as she can go into heat as early as that. Contact your local shelter or humane society for low cost spay/neuter programs.
Good luck and I hope you have a long, happy life together.

I would think that she is a mixed breed half tabby and half siamese. Although I kind of like the name Tabby Point better.

If you can, you should post a pic. It sounds like it would be a mix. The tabby point is a breed.

"points" refers specifically to coloration on the ears, muzzle, tail and legs. Tabby point isn't an official term, but it does describe your cat! Sounds very pretty. :)
