Mexicans are valuable to this country and the only reason that people like the minutemen have such anti-immigration positions is simply because they are afraid that their race and culture will decrease or die out
I mean this whole immigration thing is history repeting itself.
I mean everyone hated the Irish,the Jews, and the Italians when they 1st came over because they were afraid that they would take over

So why are you just calling out White people then?

What I can't seem to handle is their obvious hatred for the American people. If they truly want to be legal American citizens, they sure have a funny way of showing it. If wanted to be a citizen of another country, I d@mn sure wouldn't be burning their flag, or demanding they give me rights. I'm having a problem with their attitudes towards us, Whites in particular. If they hate us so much, stay in Mexico!

Mexicans are valuable, as are Japanese, African-Americans, Germans, Europeans, Chinese, etc. Individuals of all nationalities are welcomed here - as long as they speak basic English and are legal - they are welcomed here.

"Everyone hated the Irish, Jews, and the Italians.." That's a crock of bs and I'm sure everyone else knows that as well. No one was afraid they were going to take over - The Irish were despised just as much as the black slave.

Why do you feel that illegal Mexicans are entitled to anything? We don't owe them, you, or anyone else a damn thing. If Mexicans are so great, why is Mexico's government trying to get rid of them? Hhm. Makes you wonder. You need to educate yourself, do some research before you continue to make yourself look like an ignoramus.

Lastly, I'm not afraid my race is going to end. We want our laws enforced - we don't want any illegals. We don't have a problem with the immigrant who comes here, respects OUR laws, respects OUR language, respects OUR culture, and cuts the cord from their loyalty within Mexico and places it here.

BTW - The majority of the legal Hispanics, Mexicans, etc. oppose illegal immigration because they had to work hard and EARN their citizenship.

'white people' is a fairly racist remark itself. There isn't a 'white race'...there's more diversity among the genotype of people who are labeled 'white' than there is among any other arbitrary racial label. This is because the gene which produces less melanin in the skin happens to be a dominant gene.
The US, for your information, is not a facist state. There is no racial dominance to the passing of bills in this country and there is no sane way to suggest that there is, in secret.
Your reasons offered for the issue with immigration historically in the US is false and naive. Legal immigration is what built this country. Illegal immigration is something totally different. You need to learn more about this subject before you have opinions at all, please.

Look, its so simple. An illegal immigrant gets to profit from the resources and employment in the US but they have no official existence, so they arent giving back to the community, by the payment of taxes, or voting, or doing jury duty, or anything. This is unethical. Its unfair to those people who actually go through the process of immigrating to this country legally. So your issue is with ethical behavior. Dont you try to put some guilt trip on the white race for beign ethical. Dont you dare.

Actually, you may be treating the Minutemen just as unfairly as you claim they are treating you! We have had several reports of Minutemen offering water and medical assistance (until the Border Patrol told them they couldn't anymore) Why do you assume that this is just about Mexicans? In case you haven't noticed, there are a few individuals from other countries coming across in addition to Mexicans who want work. Many Mexican Americans won't go over to Juarez right now because of the gang wars over drugs. The minutemen would like to stop the traffic of these drugs. They would also like the border closed to terrorists and illegal immigrants from many other countries than Mexico. Personally, I think that if they are going to make a fuss over this border, they ought to make the same demands of Canada, but thanks to the recent Tuberculosis victim, that may be a reality soon.

Speaking as a Irish, Welsh, French, Native Canadian, I can assure you that everyone hated the Irish, The Chinese, the Italians, the Russians, and every other nationality, culture and creed that came over. Nobody has a Monopoly on intolerance. Most of the Irish came by way of Ellis Island however, where they were tested for infectious diseases and were issued papers to start them on the process toward becoming citizens.
The most notable exception to this is the Cubans, who are granted amnesty if they get to American Soil, but that Amnesty was created by an act of Congress, and we have suffered the consequences of that act when criminals and persons suffering from insanity were deliberately sent over to discourage us from that policy.

Mexicans are valuable to this country, and to the world, but this isn't just about Mexicans. I agree that there should be some legal way for them to do what they have traditionally been able to do since before there were borders. I know that the reason they have to do this is because there just isn't much opportunity for them where they currently live. But just like there are good Americans and Americans who break the laws, there are Decent Hard working Mexicans and others who seem to want to take advantage of their proximity to the Border. Consider this case out of many that was recently published in the El Paso Times. I provided the link. This is the tip of the iceberg compared to what is coming across along the river. Don't we have a right to exert some control over this flagrantly illegal behavior?

Juárez police officer is arrested at bridge

A Juárez police officer was arrested in El Paso for possession of more than 200 pounds of marijuana, Juárez police announced Wednesday.
Jose Alfredo Ramirez Lopez, 24, was stopped Saturday while crossing the Paso del Norte Bridge. Inspectors found 98 packets, weighing about 255 pounds, bundled into the walls of the Chevrolet van Ramirez was driving, police said. Juárez police said they learned of the arrest when Ramirez's family went to the police station asking for vacation time for the officer, who missed work for the previous four days.

There are more than just white people who do not think as you do or agree with you either. I happen to be Native American. And stop telling, and spreading the lies about the anti-immigration position. You and others love to put that spin to/on the real issue with is illegal entry. And I don't care if it's from Mexicans or or any other country. Can't you say it for what it is? Legal immigration, which is lawful, as opposed to those who enter a country illegally, which is unlawful? They are all here uninvited. And if they came legally at first with visas - they have now and since then over stayed. America does have laws and policies on how many to take annually. What more than 2 million isn't enough? Or is your position that only 2 million Mexicans should be taken in every year?

Tell me how many of them will you allow to stay in your personal home for as long as they feel like it? Not knowing anything about them? Whether they are carrying diseases (not having all vaccine shots), not knowing if they are a murder, rapist, or child molester from where they came? Or can you think in terms of that position? Are you even aware that almost half of them are criminals from their own country and that's why they fled to other countries (the U.S. being one of them) to hide, and stay alive? They were obviously a drain or problem to their own governments don't you think? Or they owe some drug-lord - cartel money. Because it's not just the field jobs that force them to come here. There's more to them then We as a Nation know about them. And I think We the people have that right to know everything about them before letting them in.

And no you are wrong that every one hated other nationalities such as the Jews, the Irish, the Italians, or other ethnic groups for fear of taking over. Those people all hated their own kind back in their countries. And that's why when offers were made for them to come to a new country they immigrated legally. So no history is not repeating itself.

Those from Mexico who came to this country legally, pay taxes, and play by the rule are valuable to the USA, Those12+million illegal that are here did not play by the rule, they don't pay taxes, and etc, etc are not consider valuable. Any one breaking a law, including the immigration law is consider a criminal. What I don't understand that Mexico is allow to enforced the immigration law, yet the USA is not. Why the double standards?

Just as you say your are not racist, those who are not pro-illegal should not be label as such too. Cannot have it both way.

As for USA race and culture, we need to remember that we are in the USA and not Mexico. We don't want USA to become another Mexico. What made this country great was our culture and what we stand for. And we speak English here.

As for the Irish, Jews, Italians they all learned the language, learn the culture, and became a proud American, something the many illegal don't want to do. They also became very hard working productive citizen who made it in this country through hard work and not hand outs.

Lastly, before you label me racist, I am Hispanic, from Peru, my family and I play by the rules and waiting for over a year until with got a visa to join the rest of the family. There are many who are now waiting and have been waiting for months, years, to get a visa to join their love ones, what do you want to tell them, stuff luck suckers? The law is the law, and to break it is wrong.

Americans can manage the notion of a black president. If it used to be Colin Powell going for walks he might ordinarily win. What American cannot manage is the notion he's essentially the most liberal individual going for walks due to the fact George Mcgovern. My husband is Mexican born and raised. He came to the U.S. when he was 21, he came here legally with a green card, he was sponsored by his aunt who owned a farm in No. California and they harvested grapes. My husband moved to LA and rented and apartment he worked 3 jobs...yes, I said 3 jobs, never asked for any hand outs, he went to night school to learn to speak english, he did all this in the first year he was in the U.S. He has never looked back. In 1993 he joined the U.S. Army and served for 3 years. I met him in 1994 and we have been together ever since. He got his citizenship in 1999, not because we were married either, he went through the proper channels, did the time and paid the price. Now I am all for legal immigration. If all these illegals jumping the fence want to be real Americans, they can go through the proper channels to do so. Pay the price and wait in line just as my husband has done. Otherwise they need to be deported. This is not a race thing. I am "WHITE" as you like to call it. I think you are a racist. Now grow up!

No one is a racist, as far as I know. If someone came here from Ireland and their Visa expired, I'd want them out. We're talking about all illegal, undocumented or whatever aliens. The biggest problem, of course, is the U.S./Mexican border. Millions of people break our laws by entering our country. Cuban and Haitian refugees enter the Florida coast via boat, raft, inner tube, get them out. Sanctuary cities need to be stopped. I lived in one. Parents who could not read even their own language, yet had food stamps, health insurance, vouchers for child care - free of charge. I worked for a non-profit social service agency which provided child care services, and let me tell you, 70% of our children were Haitian. White children had a hard time being enrolled. Parents of legal U.S. citizens had to find other forms of child care or stay home with the kids. Is this fair?? Absolutely not. Services for legal U.S. residents only.

It has been proven that illegals create much more costs than the money they save farmers by picking lettuce cheap. The nation would actually grow economically if every single illegal left, despite what the leftist media tells us.

While they're picking crops, what else are they doing? Inundating and almost entirely replacing English in some parts of certain towns, popping out babies like they were in a Cheaper By The Dozen sequel, bringing their ultra-violent gangs in, and POISONING OUR FOOD by their horrible hygienic habits.

Not to mention that the crop jobs are NOT the only jobs they're taking anymore. Circuit City recently laid of thousands of more qualified workers because - get this - they were working for 8 DOLLARS AN HOUR. That's right - if the illegal problem continues, NOBODY IS GOING TO BE ABLE TO LIVE ON MINIMUM WAGE AND KEEP THEIR JOBS!!!!

Now come, would you REALLY like to live in an America like that?
