an ex wants to hang out.. it was supposed to be a group thing but everyone else cancelled out. i have a boyfriend now and i really just don't feel comfortable in this situation but I already told him i was free because i was caught off guard... what should i do?

I like honesty best so you don't maybe lead him to think you might still have some feelings. Or semi truth and tell him your new man is not at all comfortable with it. Or out and out lie and tell him you are as sick as a dog. Text this to him to make it easier. :) Best of luck!

just tell him the truth that u dont feel comfortable in the situation because if u lie and he finds out then theres a chance that he will think that u still have feelings for him and i get the feeling that u dont want that so honesty ur best bet here

Call him and tell him that something came up and you have to cancel. If he presses you for what let him know that you scheduled something with a friend that you totally forgot about. Thank him for the invite and hang up. Problem solved.

Just tell him you were free but your boyfriend wants to do something, so maybe the group can get together next week.

just tell him you were looking forward to hanging out with the group but since they won't be there you've made other plans with your boyfriend

tell him that its your grandparents 50th anniversary party and since theyre kinda elderly they sent out the invitatoins really late and that you really have to go and need to cancel, but should definitly hang out with the group another time

be honest about it...tell him it was ok with the group but since you have a bf...its not right that the two of you make plans together.
