Disagree there has to be proof to support ones argument. If a million people believed that the moon was made of cheese will not change what it real is made out of.
There is a difference between belief and facts.

Only if you believe that 51 percent majority makes something true. I'm sure more than 51 percent of Nazi Germans thought what they were doing was ok. Surely you are smarter than to believe the majority makes something true.

Depends.

Christianity, especially fundie Christianity, can be shown to be false, but the reasons are much easier to see if you are educated, so it's tough to convince the masses.

However, with some subjects, a minority view with good support can subvert an ill-founded majority view. For example, the round-Earth theories won out over the Flat Earthers.


In the long run, the evidence wins out, which is why atheism is becoming more and more popular.
