Why do people have 2 fight over other peoples religion???

Why can't people jsut let others believe in whatever they want??

Because religion makes alot of people stupid....and stupitiy spreads ! The first idiot with a bible that trys to get my son to believe in that crap, I am going to kick him in the rear end hard!

As a Christian I can respect other people who hold different beliefs but the love of Christ in me constrains me to tell them the truth.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Acts 4:11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

If a person doesn't trust in Jesus for their salvation then when they die they will have to pay the eternal penalty for their sins. Would you let someone who was drinking from a well that was polluted by mercury keep on drinking from it just because they believed that it was safe to do so or would you risk offending them by telling them the truth so that they wouldn't die a painful death?

Because most all religions state that they are the only true religion. Therefore you have people converting, preaching, and even killing for what THEY believe in. It would be nice if we could just all let each other believe what they wanted. But it's never gonna happen!!!

Because different cultures don't want to face the fact that their religion is being questioned or could be wrong. Differences in religious opinions are the major cause of wars throughout history.

The reason for this is that many selfish people are trying to get as many followers as they can so that they can abuse them ,take their money ,the woman and so on. I find this all so piggish and selfish.Any one religion that tells you that they are the only way to salvation are nothing but scum and should be cast off as garbage heads with very little education and as well as steeped in superstition and as well as selfishness.

People fight because religion in it's self has become vary evil and false, religion has never been needed by mankind, man simply needs the love of God something he dose not get from religion, so if you still wonder why people fight it is because they see religion as their God.

Because people need to tolerate other peoples beliefs..

People like Martin S. are intolerant of other peoples beliefs and live in only reading the bible all day long.

I don't make all people here mormon nor would I say they are going to hell if they aren't. People need to tolerate other people's beliefs. There a lot of antimormon posts in R & S answers..Some are just fragant misconceptions.
If you want to be in another belief, that's okay with me but I don't like other people telling me there ways are right when I know in my heart they aren't

Because many religious belief systems...infact, almost all of them, believe that theirs is the only and real truth.

If you believed something and you thought that others were just leading big lies, wouldn't you want to change that?

You must be new here. I don't know where you live, but the Christian beliefs are ruining the US. From trying to replace science with dogma, trying to make it perfectly legal to discriminate against people you don't like, to taking control of women's bodies away from them, it's like a disease we need to stop. Believing in things for no reason is dangerous.
