I have a coleman lantern model 275 that is not very bright. I have put in a new generator but that did not fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

In addition to what the other 2 posted, I would maybe do a good disassembly and cleaning. Not the kind rotating the cleaning lever but soaking parts in denatured alcohol or carbuerator cleaner. I had one that a spider made a web/egg sac in the line after the generator, which took me forever to find and correct.

Usually the problem is contaminated fuel. Try a new can of Coleman fuel. Bad fuel, or fuel that has absorbed a fair amount of water can blow away a generator in a few minutes. Never use automotive gas in a lantern, no matter what the manufacturer's instructions say.
