Indianapolis of course!

We have the Speedway, fantastic downtown nightlife, and plenty of shopping and good restaurants.

There are plenty of things to do in and around the city.

The Children's Museum is fantastic - even for grownups!
There's also the Eiteljorg museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, White River State Park, Victory Field for a summer evening baseball game.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Indianapolis! The farther north one goes, the colder the winters in general. I used to live in Indianapolis, and it could get cold enough there, but I imagine Milwaukee is like an icy wasteland in winter. It is possible that Lake Michigan might mitigate winter temperatures in Milwaukee somewhat.

I hate to state the obvious... but do you have any other choices?

I live in Chicago and there are SO many other options between the two!

If you're stuck with those choices: Indy has the Speedway and Milwaukee has Breweries.. OH, and the Brewers (I just checked, they're still there). Milwaukee also has Potawatomi Bingo Casino - PAYSBIG.COM.and THE BEST = "The Safe House" http://www.safe-house.com/faq.html (BF says you can't miss this!)

I guess Milwaukee wins if only for the Safe House.
