im not hating on illegal immigrants but i just dont think its fair for other legal aliens. My family and i waiting for 5 years back in our country and being broke at the same time. We came to the U.S go to school, work and to be a good resident. After 5 years we earn a citizen status. While they go under the table, break the law and still have amnesty? who think its fair?
i think they should all go back to their country and wait ilke we did. Im sure they'll feel exactly the same way i feel if they was in my shoes.
Americans do you agree with me?

PS: BUSH you are doing this amnesty bill just because you want love from the mexican because americans dont love you!!! you still suck!!

Yeah it upsets me too. I look on the news and see thousands of Illegal immigrants protesting. My first thought was what about the ones who came hear legally. Thats not fair. It is not just the Mexicans it is all immigrants even though majority of them are Mexicans. I am happy to have immigrants come to the U.S. why not... I love my Country I don't mind them living here...they just have to come here legally.

I am a naturalized citizen and I don't see anything wrong with what Bush is trying to do. Sorry you had to wait five years.. Not because you waited five years you think others should do the same.
Life is not fair, so deal with it.
If Bush did the same thing when you were waiting for your green card, you would have jumped on the band wagon as well, so please don't be a hater of illegal immigrants , instead you should be one of the many who can understand what they are going through.
Illegal immigrants do not have it easy in this country, they get nothing for free and have to do a lot of manual hard labor to make any type of money to support themselves and their family. All illegal immigrants want is to be able to live legally and to abide by the law and Bush is giving them the opportunity to do so.
I think everyone should back up this bill and I hope it passes so the illegal immigrants can start coming out in the open and living the American dream

You have every right to feel that way. And there are other legal immigrants who feel the same way! And if you are in America now, then help Americans who are born here try to stop this bill too! Can you imagine all of the gazillion dollars that have been spent on Iraq, and how that could have been used to enforce the current laws we have in place, but never enforce, involving illegal invaders of our country???

I want to thank you for saying what so many of my friends went through. They came with their families from Mexico legally and said that they felt frustrated as well with the current events. I appreciate what you went through and I commend you. However, I am not sure how everyone who came here illegally is going to be able to get back to their countries. To expect illegal immigrants to be able to pay their way back home is rather unrealistic. Maybe the companies that hired these immigrants can sponsor them?

The word ill legal says it all. You don't reward people for breaking the law. They should be sent back their names put at the end of the list waiting to legally enter the country. As far as those crossing the border and having babies the law needs to be changed so that mother and baby both can be sent back.

You are one of the perfect examples of what I do not like about illegal immigration and about the current immigration bill.

It's not fair for people to break the law and get rewarded for it. Your family did the right thing. My ancestors did as well. Welcome to the U.S.

I MIGHT AGREE WITH YOU BUT I CAN'T AND WON'T GO AGAINST MY MAN KENNEDY.I'LL FOLLOW HIM TO THE GATES OF HELL TEN TIMES OVER.I'M SORRY YOU FEEL THE WAY YOU DO BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE CURRENT PROPOSAL THEN I'D LIKE YOU TO COME UP WITH ONE THAT CAN WORK .IF YOU CAN'T THEN YOU SHOULD JUST ACCEPT THE CURRENT ONE.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT A LITTLE BIT.MANY OF THE LEGAL IMMIGRANTS I KNOW SEEM TO BE WILLING TO FEED THE ILLEGALS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES AGAINST THE NATIVIST.BETTER THEM THAN YOU.
