Why is it always DIFFERENT when discussing breaking the law by illegal immigrants. I've heard time and time again that it's DIFFERENT because their trying to support themselfs in a better life. I don't disagree with that at all, but open your eye's and call it what it is, If you're illegal then that means your breaking the law otherwise they would call it something else, right? They would call you a refugee or a political prisoner, they're not, They're called illegal immigrants. Which means they are immigrating here illegally. You can have you're views on this situation and believe me I have mine, but quit trying to sugar coat this as if it's not that bad, or, they're only doing it for a better life, or they take jobs nobody wants, and all that crap. Facts are facts, they are breaking the law. Or is it different. lol

Exactly what I've been saying all along.

I have always asked what the difference between an illegal immigrant breaking the law to support their family and a drug dealer doing the same thing? The drug dealer ends up in jail, and people argue that the illegal immigrants should go free? I don't get it.

But you know something? No one ever answers. I am watching this question to see if anyone offers up an answer for your question.

People tend to see it as a level of degrees. Are illegal aliens breaking the law? Yes. Many commit fraud to work here, which for you and me would buy us a felony stint in prison. But the problem is that unlike the drug dealer who all of us would love to see under the jail, the illegal alien working in McDonalds is seen as a victimless crime. Is that right? No. But it is what it is right now.

I sell pot to make a better life! (Just kidding), But, what would be the difference? It's ILLEGAL! What part of that don't people understand? Let's just all sell weed and cocaine to make a better life for our families! Isn't that the same thing? Oh, drugs, "harm" our society? ILLEGAL immigration also harms our society! That's why it's ILLEGAL! Helloooooooo!
