@ I Walk Funny: LOL. For the record, no, I've never seen any good religion. But you'll notice that the believers insist "my religion good, other religions bad."

Well....

Good Religion I've never heard of. Bad Religion, however, crank out some awesome songs (several of which are in my iTunes library right now).

Bad religions make exclusive claims to have the absolute truth, usually on very shaky evidence.

They are psychologically manipulative, and demand you "believe or else", and are intolerant of people using their own intelligence.

Many of them teach that the world's problems will one day be completely solved due to the intervention of a great leader or god or special event, and that any activities to bring this about can be justified, even murder, suicide, war and genocide. Bad religions have this feature in common with many seriously bad cults and political systems such as some forms of communism and facism.

Examples of the last include some apolcalyptic Christian and Shiite Muslim cults, Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate, the Khmer Rouge, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc., etc.

Good religions have universal compassion as their central teaching. This is markedly absent in bad religions.

Actually there is no such good or bad religion in particular at all. All religions are made for good purpose e.g compassion and humanity. No religion teaches to kill or hurt others. Remember every religion has its own supreme figure and that is God. So do you think God would ever preach us to be a bad person??

If you dont believe in Jesus, I dont think that is a good religion. I was raised on that religion. Everything here in america is based off of our religion. Church, Politics yes, and even our criminal justice system. Without God, nothing would be possible. Jesus wants us to live peacefully and be happy and to help others and not feel like we have to feel obligated to pay people.

A bad religion is one that hurts you, your family, misleads you, causes you distress, poor mental and physical health and does not believe in Jesus.

Good religion draws you close to God.
Bad religion puts you in bondage to the religion.

A good one has The holy ghost there and it only comes in Jesus name so we need to find a bible believing church, one that teaches the bible and not something else. Read John to the end of the book it is only about 140 pages and then you will see what God wants and requires from us and then when you see a church you will discern if they are teaching the word or their own agenda!

"by their fruits ye shall know them"

If they are good people and the world is a better place because of their beliefs than it's a good religion

my 2 cents at least...
