Shorty,
The fact is, God says absolutely nothing about such nonsense. This comes from the imaginations of false human teachers inspired by a spirit of contention and confusion.

Guv_Garfunkel,
It should not be insulting to another to disagree with their beliefs. As far as becoming God, the Christian Scriptures are not suggesting anything similar to Mormon beliefs. They are simply stating that our destiny if we continue in faith is that we will be sanctified, not become Gods and be worshiped by the children we create from some kind of birth with a goddess or goddesses. There is not a hint of this teaching in Christian theology and is solely from the imagination of men with a desire to become all powerful like God. Since we are to serve Him and the Bible says there is only one God we should accept the fact that we are to do His will for all eternity.

oh, oh, the mormons in my ward in SLC, UT use to say that "have you noticed that some people kind of look like each other, a litle? Becuase they come from the same heavenly Mother and others look like each other because they came from another heavenly Mother." so you feel me, do you understand what i am saying, some groups of people look the ame because these people came from one mother in heaven and another group of people look the same (guys and gals) because they came from another mother in heaven.

Interesting question. I guess you're refering to the doctrine Men/Women can become like God. I personally don't know much about women having millions of babies, because not much about the doctrine has been revealed, but I'll say what I can.
Funny you mention the spirt of contention. I personally don't find it Christlike to mock or degrade the personal sacred beliefs of others even if I disagree with them. I don't think God mentions that anywhere, but I'll assume you didn't realize your comment was rude and insulting.
As far as God mentioning that man(including women) can become like Him, there are plenty of scriptures in the bible. Let me know if you need them. God has also mentions it a number of times in modern revelation, which is a very important part of mormon doctrine.

Since the church seems to be backing away from the multiplicity of gods, the concept of 'mothers in heaven' are also being un-emphasized.
In fact, it is now an excommunicable offense to suggest there even IS a mother in heaven, much less several ever-pregnant ones.
Consider this http://cc.usu.edu/~fath6/gender.htm as an independent link (Meaning not pro happy-sappy mormon) as and interesting commentary of mormons and eternal maternalism.

According to the Mormon religion, all of us on this earth are those so called "spirit children." Evidently, God has many wives and has populated the earth with his millions of spirit children. And no, it doesn't sound any less RIDICULOUS if you read it a second time. I'm so thankful everyday to be fortunate enough to see the truth of the Catholic Church, started by Jesus Christ.

I don't think pregnancy will be the same, but then God didn't say how the whole thing would be accomplished.
