Here we go! If you are traveling internationally here are some things to think about and take along.
Passport with appropriate visas.
Immunization book. List of Shots etc.
Tickets
of course you are going to want to have your camera and most people carry personal music these days.
Pack light. one or two sets of casual, beach and dress. Remember, most places you go there are going to be great deals on clothing. You will need room for your new things.
This is important. Inform your Credit card compaines that you are going to be traveling and where. If they suddenly see charges coming from Paris or Bangkok they are going to freeze your accounts and you are stuck trying to unravel all this stuff on long distance. They are just trying to help but it can be a real bad situation.
Lonely Planet has guides to just about everywhere with handy descriptions of sights and maps of most towns and cities. The books also highlight dangers, scams and things to watch out for in specific locations. they generally have phone numbers for airlines, trains and busses in various cities and of course they list hotels and restaurants and give prices. Make sure to get a real book not a copy. The maps in the copies are hard to read.
Be security consious. ATM's work most places in the world now so you don't have to take a lot of money with you.
I would also suggest that you leave your computer at home. There are internet cafes everywhere and they are very cheap. Use them. Its better than worrying about your brick being ripped off and haveing to lug it around.
Last but not least.. Don't sweat the small stuff. You are on vacation. The hotels know how to take a lot of the worry out of your bookings and sight seeing tours. Let them handle it. It may cost a little more but its worth it.
If you will email me and let me know where you are going I would be happy to give you more specific information and tips and tricks to use to bypass customs and immigration roadblocks.
most important!!! HAVE FUN!

Pack them in a tough case suitcase or in a cooler. Because they aren't carbonated they will have to now not burst open within the shipment preserve. I have packed wine bottles in my steady suitcase and simply wrapped them within garments, however I would not do this with a carton that might burst less complicated. The airline won't care how its packed, however they are now not liable if some thing breaks.

I agree with the first guy. Where are you going? Take as little on the plane as you can. Remember, there are limits to what liquids you can take on board.
Take all travel documents, a book, a change of underwear and shirt and minimal liquids.
If it's a business trip, carry a complete change of clothes onto the plane.

Depends where you are going. If you are going far I suggest by airplane cause it doesn't take that long to get there. Pack clothes. Don't pack makeup because they are very picky about what you bring on a plane. Pack umbrella, clothes, hair brush, toothbrush, shoes because their is nothing that can harm you in them.
