He knew God created the universe.
He never knew Jesus as his personal savior, barring an unrecorded last minute conversion.
He might have worshipped other Gods than the Judao-Christian God.
Would this be enough of a transgression to send him to hell?

If Falwell is in heaven and Gandhi in hell, you know where I'd rather be.

Yes. Just like it is theoretically possible for Hitler to be in heaven. We all fall short of God's requirements, that is why we need atonement to make up for our transgressions. Only Christ can redeem us. We also need the Holy Spirit to sanctify us. No doubt Gandhi would deserve a better place than Hitler, but both of them need Christ just as much. Gandhi does not need less of a salvation than anyone else.

I am not going there with an answer, because I don't know.

Gandhi believed that there were many approaches to God, truth, and reality. He said that the moon (Nodes of the moon are shadowy planets) was a governor of his life destiny and that his career was governed by the planet Mars, a killer (Makara) in his star configurations so, well, I don't know.

Only know what the Bible tells me.

Gandhi is in a Good place no matter what Christians say.

Honestly, being in Heaven with a bunch of Christians is my Hell.

It's not that he didn't know Jesus. It is because he tried it,and rejected it.Was it his fault entirely? He said ,"I'll believe in Christianity when I can find a Christian"
Remember,he spent much time in South Africa and England. He was probably discriminated against because of his ethnicity and thought all Christians to be bad.
The only sin that sends you to Hell is rejecting Christ,so who knows?

No, that is not possible.
There is no hell.
Gandhi was a special messenger and teacher.
Jesus was also.
Gandhi did not need to worship Jesus, he only needed his love for God and people.
