i've already asked this, but didn't get many responses! would you take a break from trying to figure each other out and write a haiku describing your beliefs?
if so, please do not use it to bash other people or groups. it should be about YOU in relation to what you believe. this is so that we can learn about each other without any sarcasm or everything else we experience in this section.

a haiku's basic form (as far as i know!) is first line has 5 syllables, second has 7, third has 5. if you are more educated about haikus than i am (which is highly likely) and know of other forms, go ahead and do that!

i'll give examples. again, i will say that to those who are REAL poets, please excuse my pathetic attempt to write one!! here we go:

the dying flower
suddenly starts to blossom
she's alive again

also, it can go like:

i am a Christian
i believe in Jesus Christ
He has set me free

i hope to get more responses today! thanks to those who did it yesterday!! have fun writing, please!!!

I do not like doing haiku. I love god and He loves me back.

Earth, fire, water, air
There is peace in my spirit
Nature provides hope

Wind carry my wings
For I possess dragon's heart
No chains bind my soul

The ocean calls me
The forests lure my soul home
In the soil I sleep

Wolves howl in the night
Birds circle far above me
I am forgotten

The circle of life
Claims my flesh will be worm-food
I am pleased with this

For perhaps one day
I will walk another's path
As an animal

I remember not
Who or what I was before
My spirit is free

Living and dying
Repeatedly, for all time
Nothing wasted here

For all things must come
To a full circle again
That's the way of life

Whether God exists
Or whether we are alone
Love will find a way

The haiku should also contain a season, or a reference to the natural world. Here goes some haiku about Animism.

Gaze across water,
And consider animism.
Souls inhabit all.

The spirits awake,
And the animist listens.
To the Summer rain.

Consider your place,
In the tapestry of life.
Souls all around you.

I failed with this last one, but I still like it

My body is earth
for a time on it
then earth again

My blood is water
it animates the body
then returns its power

My spirit is Air
Air fills the blood
We share the Spirit

My life is Fire
I burn with its passion
Hope it warms you.

I promise I just made this up. I think I did pretty good. I never even heard of haikus before. Thanks it was fun to do.

It is English haiku

I am an Indian
I believe in lord krishna ,
He showed me real God

Nature as his inner eye ,
creates animate and inanimate beings
So does the universe turn

One great mystery
Ideas like stubborn weeds
Choking each other

In the empty space
between proton and neutron
there is the Goddess

Above us, blossoms.
Below, paths of stone or sand.
Blossoms are constant.

The breath is a gift
I accept and offer up
to the Deity.

Goddess in nature
Harm none, then do what you will
All actions return

EDITED TO ADD: A second and third one...

Dancing in moonlight
Honor the Lord and Lady
Pleasure is sacred

Earth power rising
Through our bodies and spirits
Old ways returning

For if there is no God
Then there is no eternity
Without an eternal promise
All hope is lost.

Jesus is the Son of God
His gift is salvation and forgiveness
How can life have any meaning at all if this is not true.

I've never tried haiku before-so bear with me.

God is my comfort.
He is always standing near
He makes me peaceful inside

God the creator
Jesus, Redeemer and Son
Spirit, breath of life

(Hey, this is kinda fun! It makes a good prayer/meditation exercise, too. Might have to use this when teaching!)
