I'm 17, 5'4 and I weight 73 pounds.
Is that really underweight?
I mean I don't really look that skinny but when I tell people my weight they freak out and call me anorexic.

I used to get that too. If that's your natural weight and youre confident with it, dont think about what others say. I'm 5'1, 20 and about 100 pounds.

From what it SOUNDS like it sounds underweight because (i'm SUPER short) i'm 4'11", 13 years old and like 80 somethin pounds....and yes i'm skinny. But if you look fine, and your friends say you look fine, then your fine!!!!!! Unless i saw a pic i cant tell if you are underweight or not

I want to say you are fine and maybe you just have a smaller frame, but that is extremely underweight. I could understand if you were maybe around 100lb, but at 5ft4 and 73lb there has to be something going on there. Have you spoken to a doctor about why your weight is so low?

that is way underweight. you need to talk to a doctor to see why your weight is so low and what you can do to change it. i would say it wasnt bad if you were shorter, but with your height that is way too skinny. i know girls that look anorexic at your weight but their like 4ft something and still too skinny

ummm.... thats sounds a little too light. im 13, 5'5, and i weigh 103 lbs and im naturally rele slender. so it kinda sounds like u might b underweight. try eating a lot of protein bars or something if u wanna gain .

Believe me, at 5'4" and 73 you have to look really skinny, even if you don't see it yourself. Eat!

That is disgustingly underweight, not that I believe that you are that skinny and not in the hospital.
However if it is true and you are that skinny you need help. I am naturally thin, and I hate it when people assume I'm anorexic because of my weight ( which is about 25lbs heavier and I'm 2 inches shorter), so I'm sorry that I'm doing this to you, but you need help because you are so underweight. You should be around 120lbs.

Yes, that is very underweight! I mean, seriously very unhealthy. You need to see your doctor ASAP.
