It's probably "religious" but I love "Needful Things" by Stephen King. I would say it is spiritual because you don't have to believe in a literal Satan or anything religious to learn a spiritual lesson from this movie. It was just interesting to see how things like jealousy, jumping to conclusions, being judgmental, and desire for material wealth could ruin so many lives, and always on a much greater scale than you could have imagined. The sin committed always seemed fairly small to the person committing it, but it had grander repercussions. It just made it all so interesting!

A Simple Twist of Faith, starring Steve Martin.

It's an adaptation of an old book called Silas Marner.

A bitter man who is a miser (hoards wealth) adopts a baby who basically falls into his life and he has to fight to keep her from her biological father who rejected her because it wasn't politically expedient.

The night that he loses his entire fortune is the night the child (who you realize IS a real fortune in being his salvation) comes into his life. He has to fight for her and is on the verge of losing her because ironically he can't afford to take care of her in the fashion that her biological father can.

Steve Martin's character finds purpose in life, and in caring for someone other than himself and that some things are worth fighting for. He was redeemed by the love he had for this child and the love she had for him over her biological father..
It's worth renting. It's funny but very dramatic as well.
