well usually from home is hard unless its something creative...like a project for an article or a magazine. look around some industries or places that hire maybe even online.

Alfie, if there's any way you can, take a course in photography at your local community college. There are so many things that go into taking really good pictures. You might also buy a good photography book and teach yourself. There are all kinds of opportunities in this field including studio, fashion, architectural and news photography. It's probably best if you pick one kind and specialize in that one kind. Try to find a job with an established photographer. You may find one who is willing to let you serve an apprenticeship and teach you the trade. Before applying for a job, build a portfolio of your best pictures. Good luck to you.

# 1 you need to set up a studio
a studio is simply a space to hang your backgrounds, set up your props and take your photos where you can control the lighting and such
# 2 you need to put together a portfolio
a collection (in an album or online) of your best work to show to potential clients
# 3 advertise
offer free photo shoots- give one pose for free then offer to sell them the rest
to make $ this way you usually offer the first pose free. Take a decent picture but don't make it the best. Save your best work for the ones you want to sell
#4 network
get on myspace and look for models, families or groups in your area ( not professionals models cause they will try to charge you) just ametuers and send them an invite to the above first pose free- do really good work. word of mouth is great advertising. Say something like I saw your profile and noticed how photogenic you are would you like a free photo shoot. Don't come off creepy, it'll scare people away.

Taking pictures is free, but then for more memory you'd need a Micro SD card. That would be some money you might spend. Also, sending pictures is sending media so, unless you have a media packet, sending the pictures to someone would cost money.
