let me tell u this story first. ever since1st g i have liked this guy.lets call him Luke.i am a pretty blonde haired girl with blu eyes. I never thot he liked me, but in 3rd we became friends. we would talk and play b-ball 1 on 1 together. we were happy. but when we were around his friends, he would pretend to hate me. at the end of 4th grade summer vacation, he called me and asked me to go out with him. Now, i have always liked him, but I figured that it must have been a prank. but then i rethought. he has told me many times be4 that he liked meand he even hugged me once. i dint kno what to do so i hung up. when school started again he dint seem so scared to be around me. iCouldHang out with him more. we would sit side by side in class, and write notes to eachother. but around his frnds he still acts like he hates me. I cannot give this guy up. he is so cute, and i kno he likes me bac...wat shud i do? all his frendsLikeMe2ButLukeThinksThatTheyThinkImWeird..HELP

From the sounds of it, he is greatly immature, which isn't surprising if you're both under 13. Do yourselves a favor and wait a few years before you worry about what he thinks or feels.

4th grade? Dude, maybe you should finish puberty before thinking about guys. Ever heard of the saying, "take things slow"? By 6th grade, you'll get the label s.l.u.t, or end up pregnant, hell...maybe both. So do what the person above said and GROW UP!

put it this way most guy when they do that then it means someone in the guys group doesnt like you. so they tell the guy you like and to show that he has balls to his friends he would just push you around and treat you like crap. but when you guys are together and alone then he wants to be the sweetheart that he is because he is too afraid to step up to his own friends

he is under the influence of his friends and he has to act like he hates u cuz of his friends. i had almost the same situation as u b4... well, now we r friends and he found better friends that didnt "judge" him.... he's really sweet.
