to offend anyone, but most of the people who choose to answer only deliver rudeness. I know there are many "religious" and non-religious people here who are attacked daily, but why is it that because of that, everyone has to be so jaded that you feel it necessary to insult someone just because you misunderstood the question and make them feel so lousy for asking a serious question. Do you not sometimes ask a question that you hope others will give you an honest non-judgemental answer. If so then why do you answer questions in the same manner. I hope you all have a wonderful day

againstwindandtide. Take a look at the question I posted immediately before this and you tell me if the answers seem meant to be in fun or in rudeness.

I also noticed that none of the people who answered my previous question so rudely had the guts to answer this one and apologize for such behavior.

Thanks to those of you who went back and read my previous question and pointed out that it came off as being rude or meant to offend. It really wasn't intended to be. I still stand by my observance of most of the answers being rude and immature. If you go back and read some of the answers you will see that some found they were able to answer it without being rude. I just wonder why the others felt they had to be so hateful.

People choose to feel what they do and how they react. The attacks are equally biased and equally scattered between the sides and sects.
There are chips on many people's shoulders and they're looking to knock a few here and there. They are blissful in their mutual ignorance of each other rights.

The sad truth is, most people are very hateful. They live to be nasty, rude, morons for lack of anything better to do. Attacking others gives some their jollies. I don't know why. I can't explain it. Much of the societies around the world are crumbling and people live miserable existences. I live a rather miserable existence, but I still try to be nice. I hope you have a wonderful day too.

The tone of your previous question invited the answers you received. Read it again and make it more gentle and welcoming. There are many examples of non-Atheists asking Atheists gentle questions, and then receiving gentle answers. Look at yourself first, before you criticize the rest of us.

To be perfectly honest with you, your previous question contained a few sardonic comments, and people reacted to that.
If you really don't want to offend anybody, choose your words with a little more care.

It can't be helped. As a muslim, we are told to greet all with peace and respect. But a lot of those people you see are masqueraders trying to make others look bad by saying I H8 CHRISTIANS to make people think that a lot of people do when they themselves are. On the otherh hand, some people are just racist and bigoted and it really annoys me too. I have a question kind of like yours too...

this is a public place in a friday evening...what you call "hate" is just "fun"...why would anyone who doesnt know you hate you??? you may be a christian if you think that way...If you want to have serious answers about religion just join any church or whatever pseudo spiritual congregation you can find...
i rephrase the question:
why do most people in here dont have any sense of humour"?? why do they see hate all around?

This is true of just about every similar forum on the internet, be it in religion, politics, or the arts. People who have keyboards feel invulnerable, and often take their frustration out on others. They wouldn't be so vitriolic in person.

Yes, I see that a lot in Y/A in every section and its very dissappointing to see all of the offensive comments, racial slurs and all out hate speech. And its sickening t think that people get a pleasure by putting other down because of superficial differences. I simply out it down to ignorance and insecurities.
