actually, one who expresses an interest in the responsibility is usually excluded due to a concern in the psych background of such a person. the general problem with those who currently push the plunger is that they have no medical experience or exposure, such that they are inappropriate -- as a legal matter -- to administer lethal injections.

I'm not sure whether you are serious about the above or whether you need help. Are you sure that you can actually take someones life, no matter how cruel they are and no matter what they did to deserve the death penalty in the first place, without feeling anything at all? Would you even be able to take on such a job in the first place? Somehow I don't think you are serious about taking on such a task.

Contact your state's pentitentary (in Texas, you would contact Austin) via internet. Find what the qualifications are to be employed. Research the penitentary job sites or contact their HR. I'm sure you have to have some type of medical background. Having seen ppl die, it's not what you think it would be, and no, it's not gratifying in the least.
