What's your opinion on plastic surgery?

I think it should only be done on people that are deformed from birth or disfigured from an accident or something like that. People that get plastic surgery for the fun of it are, in my opinion, idiots. That's my 2 cents.

I agree! People who are not satisfied with who they are before surgery will certainly not be happy about themselves after plastic surgery!

i don't agree with you because some people use plastic surgery to make themselves feel better. yes i also think that people with birth defects, or were in an accident should get plastic surgery if they want it, but have you ever thought about why they get it if their condition is not life threatening. The answer is almost 99% of the time " because i dont feel pretty/handsom" or "i wish people would stop staring and pointing at me." now do you see it from a different point of veiw. They are self contious just like me and you. and i dont care what other people say.. everyone is self contious a little. so i now hope that you will reconsider your opinion.

A slight bump in someone's nose might not be noticeable to everyone else, but to the person with that nose it feels like a cleft pallet. I don't think you can pick and choose whether plastic surgery is right or wrong if there are stipulations attached. Either it's wrong to base so much on looks, or it's not. Regardless of whether you're fixing facial scarring or a few lines that only you notice. I happen to think that if you can afford it and want it, then do it.

I think plastic surgery is a choice each person has to make on thier own. Yes, God made all of us, but somehow, we are able to undo that masterpiece. We can become overweight. We get hurt growing up and scar ourselves. We aren't born old. We get pregnant and end up with saggy breasts, stretch marks and unhappy with our new tummies. Or we could end up with breast cancer and have one or both removed to save our lives. Then we will get treated as if it is the worst thing in the world to look like that. So unless you were BORN with ALL of those things, God DID NOT make you that way. No one gets plastic surgery for the fun of it.

I'm with you. They're screwing with a perfectly good body and permanently damaging it because they think they have to look a certain way.

Seriously, grow up. You're not in middle school anymore and you don't have to look a certain way to be "cool," and anyone who says you do is an idiot you shouldn't be hanging out with anyway.

Plastic surgery is just a way for people to capitalize on the insecurities of others.

I agree with you, for the most part. There are some people that are just truly uncomfortable with their body, and if plastic surgery is the best answer for them, then so be it. I think that people that get their entire bodies reconstructed to look like someone else, however, are just out of control and ridiculous.

I agree completely with you! Everyone was made exactly how God wanted them to be. Getting plastic surgery just because you want to look better is like telling God He did a bad job on you.

I don't really believe in altering the appearance that God gave you... everyone is unique and special... but if it makes you feel better, go for it because at the end of the day you have to look yourself in the mirror and be happy with what you see.

also, degrading insecure people whove had work done disgusts me more than the botched work done, but then again, i like people for WHO they are
