I went there in 2005. Be sure to bring a rain coat because the Pepsi 400 has a tendency to have rain delays and hiding under the bleachers doesn't do any good. I sat in Depalma, in about the twentieth row. It was O.K. You can see about three-fourths of the track. If your friend can get you in the Nextel Tower that would be a good spot to see most, if not all of the racetrack. The best thing I can tell you is to watch the weather, and pack some kind of anti-mosquito spray. Good Luck!

i live just outside Daytona and we go ever year to the 500 and the 400. The Petty Tower has good seats. Anything on the frontstretch really. From there you can see the whole track and pitroad. Just don't get backstretch tickets, they are not good seats and the parking and transportation is screwed up back there.

I've been there but I was only in the Cup garage don't know of a good place to sit. It should not matter where you sit just make sure your high up so you can the majority of the track. Good luck and I hope you enjoy it!

Turn 4 is great about 40 rows up....But the closer you get to the finish line the better you will be. The higher the better so you can see across the other side of the track.

The best place at any NASCAR race I have found is the infield. If you get there thursday and have till sunday to party and watch some racing. I'm in turn 3 against the fence.
