I got a "Hey Baby!" from a truck driver today. I choose to take it as a compliment, mainly because that hasn't happened in many, many years.

I didn't realized they gave driver's licenses to the legally blind...

There was no drooling involved. Not as far as I could tell, anyway.

As long as they belong to the same taxonomic group, and they aren't drooling Budweiser all over themselves in the truck,It's a compliment!

Why I even got a wink from a young lesbo barista today, made me feel attractive...or is that pushing it?

i think insulted. i think of that in case you have the freakin guts to wolf whistle at me in public then with the aid of golly you're able to have had the coronary heart back over right here and refer to me. and because you are able to basically wolf whistle at me, what makes you think of that i would be satisfied approximately it? i'm not into that wolf-whistling subject and that i'm not into flirting for over 5 minutes. in case you like me, say so! do not play around with it. in simple terms say so and howdy you're able to get me to declare that i such as you back. yet once you wolf whistle and then physique of strategies me..you will get the chilly shoulder vast time. So yeah vast insult.

He must have thought you look pretty good. I say good for you. I take it as a compliment providing it's said with a smile and in passing. I wouldn't want to have to deal with that with someone at work though.
Give yourself some credit! Even if his vision wasn't perfect, he liked what he saw and that's a compliment!

When im with gf's and they get wolf whistled at,(feeling uncomfortable with it too)I act like the comment was directed at me.

This shuts the persons doing the whistling down REAL FAST. Its like they were expecting a girl to repsond, and heres what they dont want chasing after them. They usually run the other wya, quickly too.

LOL!!!

A little of both, really. I'm complimented that someone finds me attractive...But I'm insulted that someone would think I'd follow a guy around just because he whistled at me. Does that really ever work? It must, I guess, or it wouldn't keep happening!

It's annoying, esp. because I get them whilst wheeling a STROLLER down the street. Come on, I'm somebody's MOTHER! Whistling is bad enough, but it's when they feel the need to get right alongside you and HONK so you'll jump out of your skin...that ticks me off.

Does a guy think that doing this gives him a better chance at scoring? Really?

I consider it a compliment but I'm still as uncomfortable with this as I was when I was 16. Never have had liked having attention called to me but...it's somewhat reassuring to know that you still have "it".

A great compliment! Life is easier when we don't take ourselves too seriously and have a little fun!

Congratulations! I haven't got one in years.

If from a stranger it was always insulting. As far as I was concerned this type of behavior pegged the guy as being a member of a low socioeconomic class.

(that sound snotty!!)

awe let's take it easy on ourselves first off. I think it can be a compliment...It doesn't happen to me too often either, I think it's kinda nice if they do it in a "decent" manner...like a simple honk will do. No, cat calls or yelling foul language is needed....if you catch my drift.
