If client & tenant didn't pay me, how can I report them to bad their credit?

I have a tenant and few client didn't pay me. How can I report them to bad their credit?
Did I have to pay them to bad their credit? I only have to submit the bill
? Did I have to go throught collection agent? Did they will cost me too?

Before reporting, see what's going with your tenant/client ! Maybe there's a valid reason for why they haven't paid you.
