My beagle did the same thing, I had to stop using them. She stays in her crate while we are out of the house.
I learned that pee pads give dogs a false indication that they can go in the house anyway.

As others suggested try giving her a kong toy and fill it with her favorite snack or peanut butter or what ever. Give her more toys to play with. I think she is just bored that's why she is doing it. I am trying to potty train my puppy to either go on the newspaper or the training pads and it's been 3 weeks now. Only this past two days he hasn't been shredding the newspaper. I gave up putting the training pads in there because he loves to shred it and also the newspapers. I can hid the training pads under the stack of newspapers and he will shred everything to get to it. Now I just use the newspaper and like I said this 2 days there is very very minimal of shedding..try having more stuff for her to do/play so that she won't get bored. good luck

Get a potty pad holder that have 4 corner clips on them that locks the potty pad onto the holder. I have trained a dog to pee only on the pads and nowhere else in the apartment (not proud of how I did it) but people saying they will just want to pee anywhere they want in the house, no, they can be trained to pee only on the pad. You just scold them immediately if they pee somewhere else besides the pad and put them immediately on the pad.

she shouldn't be being to potty in her playpen or crate. If you come home for lunch I would suggest giving her a bed and toys or chewy. take her to go potty before work,at lunch, and when you get home and a couple times in the evening.
Sounds like she is bored and has decided to do that.

It's a PUPPY. They do this.
Puppy pads or wee pads are a waste of money and your dog won't learn anything--especially potty training--being left alone all day long.

Try giving her a Kong toy filled with peanut butter before you leave. That way she will not be mad at you, and it will keep her entertained. Just give her more toys, and things to do when she is home alone. She is just mad that you leave her. She will get over it eventually. Hang in there.

I think she might be teething.. its normal for a puppy of her age...if you want something else, buy one of those outdoor dog fences and put her in that where she cant get out....my dogs did the same...i bought the kennel:)

Get some bitter apple spray and spray it on them. It works!
Also, if you can't find that, dicipline her when you see her doing it.
Good luck!
