I remember reading in an Intro to Computers book that a man with paralysis had the top of his head removed and a chip installed so that he could interface with an Apple IIe computer.

Why not? I stick lots of things in my head. I'm picking my nose with a paperclip as I'm typing this.

A microchip that enhances my natural jenius powers would be AWESOME! I'd become like some sort of unstoppable cyborg.

no. you could be tracked way to easy. What if the chip goes bad. There are too many risks involved
