Wrong!
Santa is far better - you get a lump of coal and another chance next year to redeem yourself. God punishes you forever, and you only get one chance.
Santa is WAY cooler as a mythological creature.

Funny you should ask. Santa Clause is the ancient Roman god Saturn, having gone through many make-overs.
Points in common:
1. His festival is around the time of the winter solstice.
2. The exchange of gifts.
3. The red hat.
4. They both return from exile during their festival.
5. There is a temporary golden age during his return during which the normal rules don't apply, e.g., the "holiday spirit" and the "lord of misrule".

Does God exist? i stumble on it thrilling that lots interest is given to this debate. the main modern surveys let us know that over ninety% of people interior the international at present have faith interior the life of God or some bigger power. yet, a approach or the different the accountability is located on people who have faith God does exist to a approach or the different instruct that He incredibly does exist. To me, i think of it would be any incorrect way around. human beings declare to no longer have faith in God because of the fact that is “no longer medical” or “because of the fact there is not any evidence.” the authentic reason is that when human beings admit that there is a God, additionally they could understand that they are responsible to God and in desire of forgiveness from God (Romans 3:23; 6:23). If God exists, then we are responsible for our movements to Him. If God would not exist, then we are able to do despite we could like devoid of having to be stricken approximately God judging us. i think because of the fact of this evolution is so strongly clung to via many in our society - to furnish human beings an option to believing in a writer God. God exists and finally all of us is nicely-known with of that He exists. the very fact that some attempt so aggressively to disprove His life is in fact a controversy for His life. besides to the Biblical arguments for God’s life, there are logical arguments. First, there is the ontological argument. the main wide-unfold sort of the ontological argument basically makes use of the seen God to instruct God’s life. It starts with the definition of God as “that than which no extra suitable could be conceived.” that is then argued that to exist is larger than to no longer exist, and subsequently the final achieveable being could exist. If God did no longer exist then God would not be the final achieveable being - yet that would contradict God's very definition. A 2d is the teleological argument. The teleological argument is that because of the fact the universe reflects such an miraculous layout, there could have been a Divine clothier. for occasion, if earth have been even some hundred miles closer or extra suitable remote from the sunlight, it would not have the capacity to helping lots of the existence it presently does. If the climate in our environment have been even some proportion factors distinctive, each and every residing ingredient on earth could die. the percentages of a unmarried protein molecule forming via accident is a million in 10243 (it fairly is a ten observed via 243 0’s). A unmarried cellular is constituted of thousands and thousands of protein molecules.

Those similarities aside, Santa will bring you what you ask for (he makes house calls), God, conversely, makes what you want "possible" but He requires some action (some faith gesture, if you will) on your part to bring the miracle to fruition. Ironically, I've recently had this conversation with someone over this past week. (I must have too much time on my hands)

You mean naughty and omniscient? Santa does not = God. Santa is not omniscient. He does not know everything and anything that is going to happen. Sants brings you what you want, God is all powerful and does what he wants! Santa isn't real, God is.
Just my opinion, not criticizing any one's belief system.

no. and its 'nuaghty' not 'noddy'. and besides, one is actually real. but this was a good question!
Later Added:
as to yodech or whatever your name is, God does not give you 'one' chance and then your done. if He would have done that you would no longer be living. since each and everyone of us commits sin, He gives us many chances to redeem ourselves and prosper and grow fruit. it is just when there are people like you who think they deserve a long life and then get judged are way out of line, you get a life by the second, not by the year. He gives you another chance each time you sin, eventually there is a stopping point. but there is always another chance.
and santa sucks, cause once you grow up. he disappears.
Added Even Later:
have you noticed that when people answered and said that they believed in God, how they get the most thumbs down????

You can't prove either exist but:
the day you found out you're presents came from mom and dad, you didn't need santa.
Why do people still need god when we know the truth behind his supposed actions.
