why do men at 1 point love/respect their 1st wife(mom of thier child) more than their 2nd wife(who they do not have a child with).Now you may hate your ex now BUT the bond when you were married was greater than the bond you have now or ever will have with your current wife.

I think that's a crock! If his bond is stronger with the ex, why isn't he with her? The child should have nothing to do with it. A bond between father and child should not coincide with the mother of the child. Obviously the guy you're referring to can't get over his feelings for his ex.

their will always be at some level a bond between the parents of any child, regardless of how much they hate each other.


but that bond isnt love, its something else.

i know many people who are alot happier with their 2nd partner who they didnt have kids with

I beleive there is a little hesitation with the next relationship. You don't want to be hurt again and never put your entire self out there for the taking. Your first wife was the one you were going to spend the rest of your life with and you gave it everything. It hurt and now you are reserved.
