I signed up for match.com a few weeks ago. I sent out a few emails, but no replies. So I cancelled my account out of frustration. Was that the right thing to do?

Well hopefully you didn't use the same profile name that you have here on yahoo, but no, I wouldn't have deleted it after only a few weeks....I would have at least tweaked my profile a little more a waited at least 6 months, because the advertisement for Match.com says that if you don't get a match in 6 months, they refund your money, and give you 6 months free! So sign back up, and remember, there's someone for everyone.

I was a member on yahoo personals for a couple of yrs, i would be a member for 6 months then i could cancel it for a couple of weeks, and so on... well this last time i activated it i paid almost $100 for 3 months, well one day i received an email from a guy that in the future would be my husband, we been married for 6 months now, and it gets better and better each day... i would get desperate because no one would email me or reply... have patients, she'll come when you don't expected!
