Well I've studied the creationist claims on the internet (Answers in Genesis, Reasons to Believe etc) read a number of creationist/intelligent design books (including Darwin's Black Box by Behe), corresponded with the websites in question (trying to "nail down" falsifiability and the axiomatic or empirical nature of AiG's "no new information" claim)
Does that count as "open minded"? How much evolutionist stuff have you read?
There is an interesting bit in Behe's book when he talks philosophy. He spends around two pages having a go at someone who said that science was a "game". Putting aside that Behe had wasted two pages of text attacking a simile, he betrayed the fact that he was unaware that this was a simile used by Popper in the "Logic of Scientific Discovery": Behe wrote a chapter on the philosophy of science and betrayed an ignorance of the work of the greatest philosopher of science of the twentieth century! Hmmm how "open minded" are the creationists?
[Edit] Twenty bucks to get in! Its not so much an open mind as an open wallet thats needed!

I have spent DAYS digging through every creationist website on the internet, asking questions in creationists y! groups and on here.
All I got was a bunch of crap, half crap and insults. When you really press the issue of "why" scientists have decided to spread the "lie" of evolution, you hear these vague theories about satan wanting to use atheists to make everyone gay. No kidding, that was the response I got.
Or they say that thousands of PhD.s world wide are covering up for Darwin so they don't have to admit that they were wrong. HA! In science, anyone who proved Darwin or Einstein wrong would get an instant Nobel Prize!
There is no data or fact to support creationism, they deliberately misinterpret select bits of data and ignore everything else.

They actually spent over $27 million.

Since there are so many people who say evolution is a proven fact, very few will actually study the claims and data of the creation museum. I have found that most people's minds are already made up and so why would they "waste their time"?

There's probably a more eloquent way to say this, but the amount of money spent on a thing doesn't lend it any credibility.
But I am actually vaguely interested to see what in the world they might have there.
They couldn't possibly have dinosaurs, could they? Or any actual artifacts? Is it all just pictures from the bible or whatever? lol
I was wondering about that last night. I suspect it's just a very large bible that you can walk through.
EDIT: What a hoot! I was right. I just googled it and found this ".....brings the pages of the Bible to life." lo-freakin'-l

some are and a few are actually not. some do not settle for the ambiguous generalizations of the Bible to signify something different than fantasy. Others are any opposite direction around. to objective to bind the two into one total with out keeping appreciate for the strains that divide faith and perception with expertise is to fail to comprehend the way the finite and the eternal paintings mutually. if so why even attempt dropping time? somebody who places introduction down sounds comparable to man or woman who places down technological know-how in choose of introduction. They the two omit the element.

As soon as you take time to seriously study the claims of the Astrology Museum and the ESP Museum. Everything the Creationist Museum presents has been discredited time and again.

Are the creationists open minded enough to study the claims and data of the creationism museum? OR DO YOU JUST BLINDLY ACCEPT IT BECAUSE YOU'RE A BUNCH OF SILLY CULTISTS?

They would have to submit it first. There is a reason they have not and will not submit it. Creationism is a lie. They cannot prove anything in any of their claims. It is simply propaganda and people absolutely cling to it.

There is no data to study. Putting a saddle on a dinosaur model doesn't constitute "data". It constitutes gross ignorance. Ignorance which they obviously intend to pass on to impressionable children.

Its a propaganda machine
The major players see a hole in the security of the people due to 9/11 and want to fill it with "security" through religion.
what a great way to retain power.
business people should learn from this.
Some people say that The Roman Empire never died... hmmm
Some people say that we learned a lot from Hitler and what we see in our media is a reflection.
